History of Corfman Chiropractic
Dr. Corfman was born in California and after junior college, attended the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa for 4 years. Upon graduation, Dr. Corfman and his family returned to practice in the Modesto area and after 10 years moved to Alabama. Their two chiropractor sons are now practicing in the Shoals area of Alabama, where they have been for about 22 years.
Dr. Corfman had a practice in Florence for about 15 years, then moved the practice to Huntsville, Alabama in 1999. After practicing until March of 2013, Dr. Corfman and Barbara semi-retired, and he trained for doing Department of Transportation examinations for Interstate truck drivers, bus drivers and other CDL operators. He is a Certified Medical Examiner for FMCSA, which regulates and tests drivers.
Our present practice is conveniently located near Redstone Arsenal and is easily accessed from Hunts- ville, via I-565 and Madison Boulevard. We are in a professional building that also houses a dental office, an opthamologist and a pet hospital. Parking is ample and our building is easy to find, as it is but 2 blocks north of Madison Boulevard on the west side of the street.
Our practice is composed of all ages, and we like to see patients who are experiencing pain, restricted motion, and systemic diseases. We are here for more than just sore backs and necks, although we welcome you if that is your major need. Our office has a home-like waiting area, and friendly people who don't mind taking the time you need to understand chiropractic, to make appointments and to have questions answered.
